Qualifications

• We are looking for a highly experienced DBA Architect to support enterprise-level database environments for one of our key clients
• The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of experience, with deep expertise in database design, performance tuning, and cloud data platforms
• 8+ years of hands-on DBA experience
• Expert in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL or other major RDBMS
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP
• Strong in query optimization, scripting, and database automation
• Ability to handle large-scale, high-availability systems
• ✔️ U.S. Citizen

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced DBA Architect to support enterprise-level database environments for one of our key clients. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of experience, with deep expertise in database design, performance tuning, and cloud data platforms. This is a Onsite contract opportunity with initial 12 months contract and have a long-term potential.

• Architect and optimize complex database systems to ensure scalability and security.

• Lead data modeling, indexing strategies, and performance tuning efforts.

• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to align database strategies with application needs.

• Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.

• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in both on-prem and cloud environments.

Technical Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on DBA experience.

• Expert in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL or other major RDBMS.

• Familiarity with NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP.

• Strong in query optimization, scripting, and database automation.

• Ability to handle large-scale, high-availability systems.

Preferred Skills

• CI/CD experience for database environments.

• Knowledge of data pipeline tools and ETL frameworks.

• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2).
