Full Description

Company

— AI-powered project plan simulation + delivery risk detection for product, engineering, and PMO leaders.

We help teams anticipate delivery risk from scope/capacity shifts and act before plans break.

Why this role exists

We're building a system that goes beyond tracking work: it predicts risk, simulates outcomes, and recommends interventions.

This requires a leader who can build the product and run the machine — engineering execution + operating cadence + early hiring + process.

This is a true co-founder role.

You'll be a core decision-maker across product, tech, and operations.

What you'll do

Own engineering delivery end-to-end: architecture, code quality, velocity, reliability, and security mindset

Run the operating system of the company: weekly execution cadence, priorities, metrics, planning, and accountability

Turn ambiguity into output:

translate customer pain into shipped product, and shipped product into learnings

Lead and scale the team:

recruit, hire, and manage early engineers (bonus if you can bring 1–2 strong people)

Make the platform enterprise-ready:

observability, incident response habits, data handling, permissions, auditability (as needed)

Drive integrations and product workflows:

especially around project management ecosystems (e.g., Jira / Azure DevOps / similar)

Set culture by example:

high standards, low ego, fast feedback loops, and relentless focus on what moves the needle

Who you are

Must-haves

Strong technical depth:

you can build real systems, not just manage people

Experience leading engineers and shipping product in messy environments

Startup experience (founder or early-stage team) — you understand speed and tradeoffs

Operator mindset:

you can run cadence, processes, and execution, not just architecture

High ownership + high integrity (no politics, no excuses)

Nice-to-haves

B2B SaaS experience (especially enterprise-ish workflows)

Familiarity with PM/engineering tooling ecosystems (Jira, ADO, etc.)

Ability to recruit from your network in LA/SF/BLR

Basic finance/ops comfort (runway thinking, budgets, vendor decisions)

Commitment & compensation (read carefully)

This is a co-founder bet with meaningful equity.

Cash may be below market early.

You must be comfortable taking meaningful risk for 6–12+ months depending on funding/revenue timing.

If you need a full market salary immediately, this won't be a fit.

What you get

Co-founder level equity (standard vesting)

Ownership across engineering + operations + execution

Direct influence over product direction and company strategy

A founder partner who owns GTM/customer discovery while you own build + operate

Short answers (bullets are fine):

Screening questions (Mandatory)

Why does this problem matter to you personally?

What's the strongest system/product you've built end-to-end? (links welcome)

Have you led a team?

How many people and what did you ship together?

Are you comfortable with below-market cash early on in exchange for co-founder equity upside?

Which location are you in (LA / SF Bay / Bengaluru)?

If you joined tomorrow, what are the first 3 things you'd change/build in the first 30 days?
