What you will do:

Creative Leadership

• Establish overarching creative direction, usability standards, and design quality for multimedia and digital projects.

• Inspire cohesive, visually elevated work across all formats, including motion, digital, print, and editorial design.

• Translate business needs into engagingconcepts that resonate with internal and store audiences.

• Collaborate with designers and clients to develop templates, learning materials, videos, marketing content, and other visual assets.

• Offer constructive feedback to elevate creative quality while maintaining consistency across all deliverables.

• Contribute story ideas and creative treatments for video and photo shoots.

AI & Innovation

• Champion the integration of AI tools across multimedia production (e.g., AI voiceover, avatars, video generation).

• Evaluate and deploy new tools to enhance creative output, speed, and scalability.

• Design workflows that seamlessly integrate AI without compromising quality or storytelling.

• Stay current on industry trends and technologies to benefit the team’s creative process and business goals.

• Advocate for innovation by sharing insights that build team capability with new tools.

Production Oversight

• Oversee multimedia production phases from concept through delivery to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

• Operate production equipment (cameras, lighting, teleprompter, audio) alongside the team to create content.

• Guide the team on operating production equipment (cameras, lighting, teleprompter, audio).

• Lead video post-production using Premiere, After Effects, and AI-assisted tools.

• Maintain high standards for cinematography, lighting, and sound.

• Document production workflows to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Strategic Collaboration & Planning

• Serve as a consultant to management on macro decisions related to team.

• Act as a sounding board for the manager on strategic initiatives that impact how the team integrates within the broader corporation.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop multimedia content supporting learning, engagement, and communication goals.

• Provide input on resource allocation timelines budgets for effective planning.

• Identify opportunities to streamline production processes for improved team efficiency.

What you bring:

• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or Digital Media strongly preferred. Equivalent work experience considered.

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Multimedia Designer, including 3+ years in a multimedia or eLearning environment.

• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional creative projects.

• Strong portfolio showcasing multimedia design, video production, and editorial or print work.

• Advanced knowledge of colour theory, typography, and visual design for both print and digital.

• Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).

• Hands-on expertise with AI creative tools for voiceover, avatars, and video production.

• Strong experience operating production equipment and managing shoots.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with high attention to detail.

• Ability to balance creative ambition with technical precision and fast-paced delivery.

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000.00 and $106,000.00 per annum.

Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
