  • Implement Chevron standards and best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automated testing using Azure DevOps, Git, and containerization tools

As a software engineer in this organization, you will design and build applications and services that integrate advanced AI capabilities-including agentic AI systems, machine learning models, and generative AI workflows-into scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect AI-Enabled Solutions:

Design and implement end-to-end software solutions that integrate AI/ML models and services to improve decision-making, workflow automation, and operational efficiency.

• Develop and Deploy Applications:

Build, test, and operationalize cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, AKS) and Databricks, while maintaining flexibility to leverage other AI services as business needs evolve. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and future-proofed.

• Enable Reusable Software Assets:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of prior experience as a software engineer building cloud-native applications in enterprise environments.

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Jav, C#/.NET, or TypeScript/Node.js.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of AzureML, Databricks Genie, and other AI platforms.

• Experience with observability frameworks, performance optimization, and cost-efficient cloud design.

• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications.

• Skilled in ability to design and implement security best practices and compliance requirements in the oil and gas industry.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.
