Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Islamabad for an AI Dubbing Operator.

The Localization Production Associate will be responsible for leveraging advanced AI technologies to enhance dubbing and subtitling processes.

Daily responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and quality of dubbing, managing AI tools and systems, overseeing language synchronization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and localized content.

Attention to detail, language comprehension, and familiarity with dubbing or subtitling workflows are critical to the role.

AI Dubbing Operations

• Use Echo9’s AI dubbing platform to generate base dubbed audio tracks.

• Select appropriate voice models based on character profile, tone, and genre.

• Run iterations to produce clean, high-quality outputs.

Human Enhancement & Creative Tweaks

• Add emotional nuance to lines (tone, emphasis, energy).

• Adjust delivery to match original performance intent and scene context.

• Correct dialogue phrasing and naturalness without altering meaning.

• Ensure cultural/contextual appropriateness of translated dialogue.

Technical Alignment & Lip-Sync

• Align AI-generated audio precisely to lip movements.

• Adjust timing, pauses, breaths, and pacing for natural flow.

• Use waveform tools to fine-tune sync issues.

Quality Control

• Review entire scenes end-to-end for consistency, clarity, and performance quality.

• Flag issues such as mistranslations, mismatched emotions, audio artifacts, or pacing errors.

• Collaborate with English review team and QA team for final approval.

Collaboration

• Follow production timelines and deliver episodes within assigned deadlines.

• Communicate with annotators, translators, and QA to resolve script issues.

• Provide feedback on AI tool performance to help improve the system.

• Required Skills & ExperienceStrong spoken English comprehension (TV series, movies, dramas familiarity).

• Excellent sense of timing, emotion, and dialogue flow.

• Basic audio editing or familiarity with audio tools (Audition, Resolve, etc.) is a plus.

• Ability to follow reference tone, pacing, and acting cues.

• Prior experience in dubbing, VO direction, audio editing, or post-production is a plus (not required).

• Attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks without losing quality.

Preferred Background

• Mass communication, media studies, linguistics, English literature, film/TV, or related fields.

• Passion for movies, dramas, anime, and storytelling.
