The AI Technology and Operations Evolution team within the CIO & AI Leaders (CAIL) practice in the company Business & Technology Insights (BTI) is looking for a dynamic Senior Director that will serve as a thought leader within the company’s CAIL practice.

We are looking for exceptional research and analytical skills to produce pragmatic and provocative research that the company clients consume and apply to their business problems.

As a company Analyst, you will create and advise on a portfolio of company research, communicate it to clients, and support sales in new sales and client retention.

Your research portfolio will provide insights, predictions, and actionable advice to clients around artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and data topics.

What you will do

• Support best practices and inspire by detecting the emerging next practices and trends in your AI field of research.

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have research” content.

• Develop new research and ideas through thought leadership and offer compelling, actionable approaches to clients' needs and requests that accelerate their ability to act.

• Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing research positions across a team of analysts.

• Research, analyze and predict market trends and shifts to provide clients and vendors with actionable insights.

• Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice aligned to their designated content area via virtual or face-to-face interactions.

• Create and deliver high-value presentation materials on and off stage for company events, industry and professional association conferences, and client briefings.

• Support research and sales by providing sales support and serving as the voice of the market.

• Mentor and coach junior team members.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.

• 12+ years of experience within the field of AI or ML.

• Deep understanding of both technology and industry, including market, vendors, products, and user strategies.

• Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables.

• Excellence in research and writing ability, with strong written and verbal proficiency.

• Subject matter expert comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements.

• Ability to represent the company’s research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable).
