The College of Arts and Sciences at Georgetown University invites applications for the Bertrand Chair in Computer Science.
The Bertrand Chair is an endowed chair for a computer science scholar working in the area of artificial intelligence (AI).
To hold this position, the candidate must be eligible for an appointment at the rank of Professor in the Department of Computer Science.
Weseek a world-class AI researcher, a computer scientist with a record of technical innovation and a clear-eyed vision for how AI is shaping the world.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished scholar with a demonstrated track record of high-impact, original research with an orientation toward AI and its impact on society, as well as a distinguished teaching record.
