Qualifications

  • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in RF optimization for LTE/VoLTE/5G (including at least 2 years of 5G NR optimization)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
  • Recent (within the past 2 years) hands-on Nokia network experience (RRU, BBU, antennas, alarms, KPIs)
  • Hands-on experience using Nokia tools such as WebEM, LTEPAT and NetAct and experience analyzing/acting on alarms, KPIs and radio parameters
  • Recent, hands-on Nokia network experience within the past 2 years is mandatory

Responsibilities

  • This 40-hour/week contract role focuses on optimizing live LTE, VoLTE and 5G radio networks using Nokia vendor toolsets, troubleshooting site and network alarms, tuning radio parameters, and driving KPI improvements across clusters
  • You will work closely with field and integration teams on post-launch stabilization, cluster optimization and acceptance activities
  • Optimize LTE / VoLTE / 5G radio networks through KPI analysis, parameter tuning and feature activation
  • Perform root-cause analysis and resolve performance-impacting Nokia network alarms
  • Use Nokia tools (WebEM, LTEPAT, NetAct) to monitor, analyze, implement and verify changes
  • Recommend and implement optimization strategies for RRUs, BBUs, antennas and tilt/azimuth settings
  • Collaborate with field and integration teams on cluster optimization, post-launch stabilization and acceptance
  • Produce performance reports, track KPI trends and document parameter changes and outcomes
  • Ensure adherence to RF optimization best practices and operator acceptance criteria

About the role We are seeking an experienced RF Optimization Engineer to join a large wireless network program supporting the Dallas–Fort Worth market.

This 40-hour/week contract role focuses on optimizing live LTE, VoLTE and 5G radio networks using Nokia vendor toolsets, troubleshooting site and network alarms, tuning radio parameters, and driving KPI improvements across clusters.

You will work closely with field and integration teams on post-launch stabilization, cluster optimization and acceptance activities.

Preferred Skills

• Drive test data collection and analysis experience (TEMS, Nemo, Accuver)

• VoLTE optimization experience (IMS parameter tuning, SRVCC, codec tuning)

• Experience with advanced 5G features (Massive MIMO tuning, DSS, Carrier Aggregation/EN-DC)

• Experience automating KPI reporting or parameter audits (Python, SQL)

Notes

• This is a 40-hour/week contract role. Recent, hands-on Nokia network experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
