About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI Engineer to join our fintech organization and lead the development, implementation, and integration of cutting‑edge Generative AI (Gen‑AI) and Agentic AI technologies into various business scenarios.

As an AI Engineer, you will play a critical role in transforming user experiences and operational models by leveraging AI‑driven solutions to achieve measurable business results.

This position goes beyond Proof of Concept (POC) and involves end‑to‑end ownership of AI initiatives, from ideation to production deployment, with a strong focus on collaboration, scalability, and knowledge sharing.

What you need to do:

Research & Development (R&D)

• Conduct in-depth research on Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and application in fintech.

• Explore emerging AI trends, frameworks, and tools to drive advancements in user experience and operational efficiency.

• Prototype and experiment with novel AI algorithms, models, and architectures to address business challenges.

Business Scenario Application

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high‑impact use cases for Gen‑AI and Agentic AI across the organization.

• Design AI solutions tailored to specific business scenarios, such as customer personalization, fraud detection, operational automation, and more.

• Ensure alignment of AI initiatives with organizational goals and regulatory compliance requirements.

Pre‑Requirement Clarification

• Define and document prerequisites for successful AI adoption, including:

• Data requirements: Identify necessary datasets, data quality standards, and preprocessing needs.

• AI engine requirements: Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI platforms, frameworks, and tools.

• Infrastructure requirements: Assess hardware, cloud services, and scalability needs.

• Work closely with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data availability and infrastructure readiness.

Implementation & Deployment

• Plan and oversee the implementation of AI solutions into production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including software development, IT operations, and business units, to ensure seamless integration.

• Monitor and maintain AI systems post‑deployment, addressing issues and optimizing performance.

Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration

• Conduct internal knowledge‑sharing sessions to educate IT teams on AI technologies, methodologies, and best practices.

• Create documentation, training materials, and guidelines to facilitate AI adoption across the organization.

• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the IT team.

What you need to have:

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Generative AI (e.g., GPT, DALL‑E, Stable Diffusion) and Agentic AI (e.g., autonomous agents, reinforcement learning).

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or R, and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.

• Experience with AI model development, training, fine‑tuning, and deployment.

• Solid understanding of data engineering, data preprocessing, and data pipeline design.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of fintech industry standards, regulations, and security requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering measurable business results.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.

Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in AI engineering, machine learning, or data science roles.

• Proven track record of successful AI solution deployment in real‑world business scenarios.
