Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in design systems, or product design with a very strong systems focus
  • Demonstrated experience managing and evolving large-scale design systems in Figma
  • Strong attention to detail and visual design skills with deep attention to typography, spacing, layout, and interaction best practices
  • Experience working closely with design and engineering teams to deliver high-fidelity, production-ready UI components
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, or a related fieldor equivalent professional experience
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your work and design skills is required for consideration
  • Excellent documentation, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Experience supporting multi-platform products across web, desktop, or device interfaces
  • Familiarity with tools and processes for design-to-code alignment (e.g., Storybook, Chromatic, Zeroheight, design token workflows)
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies and implementation considerations (e.g., HTML/CSS, React, Android, or native frameworks)
  • Experience scaling or modernizing existing design systems in complex organizations
  • Passion for mentoring others in system usage and best practices
  • Experience building systems for global scale

Overview Senior UI Designer (Design Systems) - AI Ecosystem at Lenovo. Lead the creation, evolution, and stewardship of the cross-platform design system to ensure visual consistency, interaction clarity, and implementation precision across Lenovos portfolio of intelligent devices and experiences.

Compensation and Location The base salary budgeted range for this position is $140-170k.

Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.

This role will join us at our Chicago, IL or Morrisville, NC locations on a hybrid schedule onsite 3 days/week.
