Job Title: Artificial Intelligence (AI) ExpertEngagement Type: Consultant – Project Management & Consulting (PMC) and Technical Support Project Phase: Phase 3 – Implementation, PMC, and Technical Support Reporting To: Project Director / Client RepresentativeJob SummaryThe Artificial Intelligence (AI) Expert will provide specialized consulting, technical leadership, and project management support during Phase 3 of the project.

The role is responsible for overseeing the implementation, integration, validation, and operationalization of AI and machine learning solutions, ensuring alignment with approved architectures, ethical standards, performance requirements, and project timelines through to the issuance of the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC).

The consultant will work closely with system integrators, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions are delivered, tested, and production-ready.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & OversightMonitor and oversee AI solution implementation activities to ensure adherence to the approved project plan, scope, timelines, and milestones.

Support the client in tracking progress, risks, issues, and dependencies related to AI deliverables.

Ensure compliance with contractual, architectural, data governance, and ethical AI requirements.

AI Architecture & Solution DesignProvide expert guidance on AI/ML architecture, model selection, training pipelines, and deployment strategies.

Review and validate AI solution designs, algorithms, and implementation approaches.

Ensure AI models are scalable, reliable, explainable, and aligned with business objectives.

Model Development, Validation & PerformanceOversee data preparation, feature engineering, model training, testing, and validation processes.

Review model performance metrics, bias assessments, and accuracy benchmarks.

Ensure continuous improvement, optimization, and retraining strategies are defined and implemented.

Integration & DeploymentOversee integration of AI solutions with existing enterprise systems, data platforms, and applications.

Support deployment of AI models into production environments (MLOps).

Ensure monitoring, version control, and lifecycle management of AI models.

Governance, Security & ComplianceEnsure AI solutions comply with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.

Support implementation of responsible AI practices, including transparency, fairness, and auditability.

Review documentation related to AI governance, risk management, and controls.

Stakeholder CoordinationFacilitate coordination between system integrators, data science teams, cloud/platform teams, and business stakeholders.

Participate in project meetings, technical workshops, design reviews, and status reporting.

Act as a trusted advisor to the client on AI-related matters.

Technical Support & Issue ResolutionIdentify, analyze, and resolve technical or operational challenges related to AI development, deployment, and performance.

Provide expert technical support in specialized AI domains as required during the implementation phase.

Project Completion & AcceptanceSupport AI solution readiness for go-live and operational handover.

Review and validate final AI models, documentation, and operational procedures.

Provide guidance and oversight until successful project completion and issuance of the Completion Certificate / Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC).

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Master's degree or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science is highly desirable.

Relevant AI or cloud certifications are an advantage.

Experience RequirementsMinimum 6 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics roles.

Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale AI or ML solutions.

Experience working in PMC or consulting roles during implementation phases.

Strong experience with AI/ML frameworks, tools, and platforms.

Demonstrated experience supporting projects through go-live and Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) stages.

Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and AI solution architecture.

Experience with MLOps, model deployment, and lifecycle management.

Strong understanding of data governance, security, and responsible AI principles.
