  • 7–10+ years of GL accounting experience (industry and/or public)
  • Deep ERP exposure (NetSuite, Intacct, Dynamics, Oracle)
  • Strong judgment in messy, real-world close environments
  • Comfortable being customer-facing and shaping solutions—not just executing tasks

Responsibilities

  • Lead accounting-focused discovery with Controllers and Accounting Managers
  • Understand end-to-end GL and sub-ledger workflows (not just surface processes)
  • Decide what can be automated cleanly vs. what should stay manual
  • Translate real close workflows into production-ready AI solutions
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering on early customer delivery
  • This role spans pre-sales discovery + early implementation
  • You’ll feel both sides—and help define the playbook
  • Real influence on product, delivery, and how deals are scoped
  • As Maximor scales, this role can grow into senior leadership across Solutions, Delivery, or Product

About the role

We’re hiring a Founding Accounting Solutions Consultant to bridge real accounting workflows with AI-driven automation.

It’s a hybrid role for someone who has lived through real closes and wants to shape how accounting automation actually works.

This is not a traditional accounting role.

At Maximor, we build AI agents for accounting teams at high-growth and enterprise companies—helping them close faster, with fewer manual reconciliations, and audit-ready accuracy.

No ERP replacements.

No black-box automation.

What you’ll do

• Lead accounting-focused discovery with Controllers and Accounting Managers

• Understand end-to-end GL and sub-ledger workflows (not just surface processes)

• Decide what can be automated cleanly vs. what should stay manual

• Translate real close workflows into production-ready AI solutions

• Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering on early customer delivery
