mytorso.ai is a Vancouver-based health-tech startup on a mission to bring preventative wellness into everyday life.

We offer an AI-powered breath analysis and coaching platform that empowers individuals to understand and regulate their nervous system through real-time biofeedback.

Having successfully moved past our initial R&D phase, we have built a complete end-to-end system comprising a lightweight wearable and a proprietary model that analyzes physiological markers.

We are currently in a structured validation phase, refining our user experience and strengthening product-market fit as we prepare for a major commercial launch in early 2026.

We are looking for a growth-minded marketer to help us build the engine that will introduce our offering to the world.

Position Overview

mytorso.ai is seeking a technically-savvy, high-energy Marketing & Marketing Operations Intern to start by mid-January for a 4 month term.

This is a foundational role where you will be responsible for both building the growth engine and defining the map for our commercial launch.

You will architect the systems—funnels, CRM automations, and lead-generation engines—while conducting the critical target market research needed to identify our ideal users and evaluate go-to-market avenues for our 2026 launch.

What You’ll Do

• DTC Market & Persona Research: Conduct deep-dive research into high-impact consumer segments (e.g., biohackers, high-performance athletes) to define detailed Direct-to-Consumer user personas.

• GTM Strategy & Channel Exploration: Research and evaluate DTC avenues (social platforms, niche digital communities, e-commerce) while investigating supplemental channels like corporate wellness partnerships or clinical referrals.

• Funnel Architecture: Design and automate our initial DTC marketing funnels and lead-generation systems to build a robust consumer waitlist for our commercial release.

• Operations & Automation: Set up and manage our CRM and email automation platforms, ensuring seamless data flow between lead capture and our business development pipeline.

• AI-Driven Research & Content: Leverage GenAI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) to accelerate market research synthesis, optimize SEO, and personalize messaging at scale for different target segments.

• Growth Analytics: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, using data-driven insights to iterate on growth tactics and improve conversion rates.

Who You Are

• Education: Currently enrolled in the 3rd year or higher of a University degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Recent Grads also encouraged to apply).

• Business-Minded: You understand the basics of business development and product management, and you enjoy finding ways that marketing can support overall commercial growth.

• Research Oriented: You enjoy "hunting" for information and have a knack for synthesizing complex market data into actionable insights.

• The AI-First Marketer: You are an expert at prompting and leveraging LLMs to speed up your workflow, from market analysis to content creation.

• Technical Savvy: You have a growth hacker mindset and are comfortable learning new marketing technology stacks, CRM tools, and automation platforms.
