The Position

We are seeking a Junior Programmer to support the development of AI-powered educational platforms and content pipelines.

This role is well-suited for early-career engineers who are comfortable with Python, LaTeX, and working with AI-assisted content generation, and who have strong fundamentals in STEM or economics.

You will contribute directly to production systems while continuing to grow your skills in AI, software engineering, and educational technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Python Development: Develop and maintain Python-based tools, scripts, and services for educational content processing and AI workflows.

• LaTeX-Based Systems: Build, manage, and optimize LaTeX-based pipelines for generating high-quality educational materials.

• Prompt Engineering: Write, refine, and evaluate prompts for LLMs to generate questions, solutions, explanations, and structured outputs.

• AI Content Pipelines: Assist in building and maintaining pipelines that combine Python, LLMs, and academic content.

• Subject-Aware Implementation: Apply domain understanding (physics, chemistry, mathematics, economics) to ensure correctness and clarity in generated outputs.

• Testing & Validation: Validate AI-generated content for accuracy, formatting consistency, and pedagogical soundness.

• Collaboration: Work closely with AI engineers, product teams, and educators to implement features and improvements.

• Code Quality & Documentation: Write clean, maintainable code and maintain clear technical documentation.

Technical Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline

Essential Technical Skills:

• Python: Solid proficiency in Python, including writing clean, modular, and maintainable code.

• LaTeX: Strong working knowledge of LaTeX for academic or technical content generation.

• Prompt Writing: Experience writing and iterating prompts for LLM-based systems to achieve consistent, structured outputs.

• Subject Knowledge: Good understanding of one or more academic subjects such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, or economics.

• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with AI/LLM tooling or APIs

• Experience with educational content or assessment systems

• Basic understanding of APIs or data pipelines

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20, $25,000.00 per month
