Our client is a premier global investment bank currently seeking a high-caliber Senior Business Analyst to join their Regional Technology Transformation Office.

This division is responsible for the strategic alignment and requirements engineering of the firm's most critical, large-scale technology initiatives.

Working within the APAC Regional Delivery Hub, this individual will act as the lead conduit between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate complex needs into actionable data governance and Generative AI solutions, ensuring every requirement is captured with the precision and strategic depth expected of a Tier-1 financial institution.

This is an analysis-heavy, high-visibility role designed for a professional who excels at deconstructing complex business challenges and architecting data-driven solutions.

As their BA, you will drive the functional design of regional initiatives, ensuring that every solution, from metadata management frameworks to AI-driven workflows, is optimized for both operational excellence and the firm’s gold standard for regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects focused on data governance ensuring alignment with global business priorities and regulatory standards.

• Prepare, document, and implement data governance policies, including prompt engineering standards, metadata management, and master data protocols.

• Proactively identify opportunities for automation and process improvement through GenAI or RPA to enhance operational efficiency.

• Act as a bridge between IT, Compliance, and Business Units; drive communication with executive leadership to influence data-driven decision-making.

• Lead workshops to brainstorm and prioritize digital change and develop prototypes for AI-driven solutions and validate them with end-users in Wealth Management or Private Banking.

• Monitor data quality and compliance, resolving operational bottlenecks and implementing preventive measures to safeguard the firm's data integrity.

• Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote a culture of data literacy and enable end-users to effectively leverage AI solutions.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Finance, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 4 –10 years of experience in project management or business analysis within a financial institution (Retail/Private Banking or Wealth Management preferred).

• Hands-on experience with Data Governance frameworks and enterprise data tools.

• Proficiency in Generative AI models, including knowledge of prompt engineering and model deployment optimization.

• Proven expertise in Agile development, Design Thinking, or User-Centered Design.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to translate complex business requirements into technical execution plans.

• Professional certifications in Data Governance (i.e.:, CDMP) or Project Management (i.e.: PMP, Prince2) are highly advantageous.

• Exceptional command of written and spoken English; ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical executive stakeholders.

• A self-starter who is committed to continuous learning regarding industry trends (RPA, Data Analytics, and AI).
