Pinpoint Asia is searching for a technically grounded System Analyst to join the Customer & Passenger Engagement team at a premier global aviation hub in Hong Kong.

This is not a "coding" role, but a high-level technical gatekeeper and PM position.

You will own the roadmap for a sophisticated Video Analytics Platform (VAP) that utilizes thousands of CCTV streams to automate operations—from operations management to logistics.

The Role

Working in a specialized team, you will act as the bridge between operational needs and external vendors.

You will be the "Technical Product Owner" ensuring that every system change and AI model deployment meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Ownership: Manage and maintain the Milestone VMS and on-premise server infrastructure, including physical health checks and hardware troubleshooting.

• Vendor & Project Leadership: Act as a PM for new enhancements; guide vendors on technical delivery and "tell" them how to look at video ROI and object detection.

• Quality Assurance: Serve as the technical verifier for system changes, reviewing installation procedures to ensure zero-error execution during overnight deployments.

• AI Model Evolution: Define requirements for machine learning models (e.g., detecting trolley levels or aircraft-side vehicle parking) and oversee their training and integration.

• Policy Compliance: Ensure all technology and vendor activities strictly adhere to aviation-standard CCTV and IT policies.

Your Profile

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol) and API streaming.

• VMS Expertise: Hands-on experience with Milestone or similar enterprise Video Management Systems.

• Infrastructure Savvy: Comfortable with on-premise hardware (server rooms) and able to identify hardware faults like disk failures or server errors.

• Vendor Management: Proven ability to manage, communicate with, and technically supervise external vendors.

• Operational Readiness: Willingness to perform overnight work for system changes (compensated with leave).

• Languages: Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to communicate effectively with diverse vendors and stakeholders.
