BMO is currently sourcing for an AI Business Analyst to support the Wealth Management – AI Center of Excellence.

This is a hybrid contract role in Toronto (4 days in office per week).

Role Overview:

The AI Business Analyst bridges the gap between business needs and AI capabilities, ensuring that AI initiatives are strategically aligned and deliver measurable value.

This role focuses on identifying and documenting AI opportunities, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and supporting the adoption of AI solutions within Wealth Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases in collaboration with business units.

• Gather and translate business requirements into actionable specifications for AI solutions.

• Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and ROI frameworks for AI initiatives.

• Analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation.

• Engage with stakeholders through workshops and feedback sessions to align business goals and AI solutions.

• Define KPIs, track project outcomes, and report on the impact of AI initiatives.

• Support integration and adoption of AI solutions, including user training and documentation.

• Monitor AI trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to inform business strategy.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong business analysis and process mapping skills.

• Understanding of Gen AI /Machine Learning concepts and their business applications.

• Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.

• Familiarity with financial services workflows and regulatory requirements.

• Proficiency in business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Experience with Agile project delivery is an asset.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Has 3+ years of business analysis experience, ideally with AI projects in financial services.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively translate business needs into technical requirements.

• Has certifications in business analysis or AI technologies as an asset.
