Work Conditions: Full-time

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to all the company Gateways and UBS for maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Maintain RF Systems functionality to ensure operational efficiency and 24/7 system availability.

• Coordinate and execute technical operations, ensuring system integrity and reliability.

• Participate in the construction, installation, and testing of new equipment or modifications.

• Perform emergency and corrective maintenance as required.

• Carry out periodic preventive maintenance activities for all the company gateways.

• Conduct root cause analysis for issues before closure, in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Manage obsolescence of equipment, ensuring alternative solutions for EOS, EOSL, and EOL parts.

• Support commercial activities including contract renewals, negotiations, and procurement.

• Mentor junior staff for learning and development.

• Provide 24/7 operational support (local or remote) as needed.

• Ensure maintenance and coordination of all site-wide support ground equipment (power, UPS, cooling, HVAC).

• Coordinate with NOCs, service providers, and contractors for scheduling maintenance or troubleshooting.

• Involve in procurement activities, including sourcing and ensuring technical compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of RF/Broadcast/SATCOM systems, with at least 2 years of project experience.

• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.

Technical Competencies:

• Experience in maintenance (corrective/preventive) and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining baseband, IF, and RF systems, and antennas.

• Ability to maintain operations for all required support ground equipment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook) and eDocs.

• Hands-on experience with test and measurement tools (spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter, etc.).

• Understanding of safety requirements, including working at height and PPE/safety protocols.

• Mechanically adept with the ability to repair and maintain equipment and machinery.
