Responsibilities

• The Forward Deployed Engineer role involves working closely with customers and partners to accelerate the adoption of Spice.ai solutions through direct engineering engagement
• Your responsibilities will include deploying, optimizing, and enhancing Spice.ai solutions in production environments while collaborating on key product improvements
• Engage directly with enterprise customers to deploy and optimize Spice.ai OSS/Enterprise and Cloud Platform solutions in their environments
• Construct, configure, and enhance proof-of-concept projects for performance, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with our engineering team to integrate customer feedback into product enhancements
• Address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and expand Spice.ai capabilities on-site or remotely
• Design comprehensive architectures utilizing Spice.ai for data querying, search, and AI inference
• Identify growth opportunities and promote the adoption of innovative features
• Work closely with founders in a leadership capacity to drive customer success engineering initiatives
• Contribute to the evolution of Spice.ai OSS based on real-world implementations
• Lead initiatives to refine our offerings and enhance the developer experience
• Week 1: Deploy a Spice.ai instance for a customer scenario and resolve any deployment issues
