Responsibilities

  • The role involves applying chemical coatings to assemblies in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment with minimal supervision
  • The candidate will be expected to meet factory targets related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
  • Use hand and power tools, jigs, masking aids, media blaster, and saws
  • Prepare surfaces of machined and sheet metal parts for painting by cleaning, stripping, abrading, sanding, masking, and stenciling
  • Unmask and touch up products with paint or enamel as required
  • Read and understand blueprints and process sheets to finish products where thickness and dimension tolerances are critical
  • Use measurement tools such as scales, micrometers, and calipers
  • Follow PPE requirements (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection)
  • Perform tasks requiring sitting comfortably for long periods while meeting quality and rate goals

Description

We are seeking candidates with assembly experience, particularly focused on paint application and touch-up. The role involves applying chemical coatings to assemblies in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment with minimal supervision. Candidates must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be comfortable using a computer to communicate withthe team. The ideal candidate will have experience with precision application of coatings or paint, accurately masking "keep-out" zones on small assemblies, following written instructions, interpreting assembly drawings, and working independently.
