Job Title: SC Cleared Solutions Architect

Job Description

This role involves refreshing all networks for Optel at National Grid's power stations.

It includes both new builds and existing builds that are migrating from their tap site to a full Optel site.

The main objective is to integrate new Optel cabinets and transition from SDH to MPLS TP technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions architecture for network refresh projects.

• Create schematic drawings and rack face layouts.

• Manage the integration of new Optel cabinets.

• Transition network technology from SDH to MPLS TP.

• Utilise CAD/AutoCAD for project designs.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in solution architecture.

• Proficiency in creating schematic and CAD/AutoCAD drawings.

• Experience with SDH and MPLS TP technologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic rack face layout type drawings.
