IT Audit Manager (AI & Innovation) - IT Audit

We are looking for a forward-thinking Technology Innovator or IT Auditor to join our team. This is a unique role designed for a professional eager to bridge the gap between audit assurance and cutting-edge technologies (e.g.

Artificial Intelligence).

We are seeking a builder who wants to apply their technical expertise to real-world business challenges.

• For Tech Experts: If you have no audit experience but a passion for problem-solving, we want to meet you. We will provide the training you need to understand audit methodologies.

• For Auditors: If you are an experienced auditor with strong technical skills and a passion for AI, this is your chance to pivot into R&D.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build & Innovate: Design, prototype, and deploy emerging technology solutions (e.g. Python, LLMs, RPA) to automate control testing and improve audit efficiency.

• Strategic Transformation: Identify use cases where emerging technologies can reduce workload and improve quality.

• Audit Execution: Execute internal audit assignments to assess internal control adequacy. Partner with audit teams to apply emerging technologies in live audit reviews to identify audit insights.

• Data-driven Insights: Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights that enhance audit assurance.

• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in emerging technologies. Provide insights and updates to senior audit management on new opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.

• At least 6 years of professional experience. We are open to two profiles:

• Experienced IT Audit/Risk professionals with a strong interest in emerging technologies (e.g. AI).

• OR Candidates with proven expertise in AI development, LLMs, or Python (no audit experience required, but must be willing to be trained on audit methodologies).

• Strong understanding of prompt engineering principles and best practices for interacting with and optimizing LLMs.

• Familiarity with foundational Machine Learning concepts and traditional AI models is beneficial.

• Preferably a basic understanding of technology control concepts (e.g., IT General Controls, cybersecurity)

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Chinese.

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical senior stakeholders.

• Comfortable working in an R&D capacity, testing new ideas without a distinct roadmap

• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to take personal accountability.
