About Trossen Robotics

Trossen Robotics builds professional-grade roboticsplatforms that help the world’s best teams develop physical AI.

Our systems are used to train and evaluate robot learning workflows, capture real-world datasets, and prototype manipulation and automation faster than traditional robotics stacks allow.

We work with robotics labs, AI research groups, AI-first startups, and corporate R&D teams working on embodied intelligence.

Our customers include Google, Meta, Stanford, and more than four hundred other leaders in physical AI.

If you want to work at the intersection of robotics, machine learning, and real-world deployment, this is a front-row seat.

The Role

We are hiring a Solutions Engineer to be the technical authority in customer conversations.

This is a customer-facing, direct role for someone who can translate real-world requirements into the right robotics configuration, run compelling demos, and guide technical evaluations that lead to confident purchasing decisions.

You will work with highly technical buyers who care about performance, integration, iteration speed, and how hardware choices affect data collection and model training.

You will help customers move from interest to validated fit with clarity on requirements, configuration, constraints, and success criteria.

This is not a support-only role.

You will shape how Trossen sells and how customers succeed by making technical buying decisions clear, fast, and minimal risk.

What You Will Do

Lead technical discovery and solution design.

• Run technical discovery with roboticists, ML engineers, researchers, and R&D leaders.

• Translate use cases into clear requirements: payload, reach, sensing, compute, teleoperation needs, data capture requirements, environment constraints, and safety considerations.

• Recommend the right system configuration and document assumptions, constraints, and success criteria.

• Help customers understand what is standard, what is optional, and what is out of scope.

Run high-impact demos and evaluations.

• Deliver tailored demos that connect platform capabilities to physical AI outcomes such as data collection, imitation learning workflows, evaluation loops, and iterative experimentation.

• Design evaluation plans with clear success criteria, timelines, and required customer input.

• Support evaluation units and technical trials, including setup guidance, troubleshooting, and best-practice workflows.

• Keep evaluations focused and time-bound so they accelerate decisions.

Answer technical questions with credibility and integrity.

Bring customer signal back into the business.

• Capture structured voice-of-customer feedback on integration friction, dataset workflow pain, evaluation needs, and missing capabilities.

• Translate recurring themes into clear internal recommendations for products, documentation, packaging, and roadmap.

• Help the company build stronger, more repeatable go-to-market motion as physical AI demand scales.
