As we expand our footprint, we are seeking a highly specialized Senior Business Development Manager to drive our strategic initiatives in HongKong.

Your Role:

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be pivotal in accelerating our market leadership within Hong Kong's construction sector. You will leverage your deep industry network and expertise in construction technology to develop and execute high-impact sales strategies. Your proven ability to navigate the public sector tender process, close high-value deals with construction firms and government bodies, and articulate the value of complex IT solutions will be critical to advancing viAct’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Business Development in Construction & Public Sector

• Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies focused on the Hong Kong construction industry, targeting key accounts in both the private sector and government.

• Proactively identify and manage tender and sourcing opportunities, leading the end-to-end bid process for construction-related projects.

• Leverage an existing network to build and nurture long-term relationships with C-level executives, project directors, and key decision-makers within construction firms and government departments.

• Technical Solution Selling

• Drive the sales cycle for viAct’s proprietary technology, including our Smart Site Safety System (4S), digital works supervision systems (DWSS), and other IoT/AI solutions.

• Understand and address client challenges by proposing tailored IT solutions, including customized systems, hardware (PCs, network storage), and integrated platforms for construction site projects.

• Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that clearly articulate the technical and business value of our solutions to diverse stakeholders (IT, Safety, Procurement, QS departments).

• Project & Client Management

• Oversee the end-to-end sales process for large-scale, complex deals, ensuring alignment with client and company objectives.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound and effectively implemented, acting as a key liaison during the project management phase.

• Mentor junior business development team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence..

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: A Bachelor / Master’s degree in Corporate Communication is required.

• Experience:

• Proven business development experience within Hong Kong's construction industry, with a deep understanding of its key players and operational needs.

• Demonstrable track record of selling technology systems into construction projects, such as Smart Site Safety Systems (4S), DWSS, EDMS, IoT platforms, or related hardware and software.

• An established network and successful history of engaging with Hong Kong government departments, statutory bodies, and major construction contractors.

• Deep familiarity with the tendering, sourcing, and procurement processes specific to the Hong Kong construction sector.

• Experience in IT project management or coordinating the implementation of technical projects within the construction industry is a strong asset.

• * Skills & Competencies:

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Cantonese and English is required.

• Residency: Must have the legal right to work in Hong Kong.

• Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strategic Mindset: A results-driven approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• CRM Proficiency: Skilled in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for pipeline management and data-driven decision-making.

• Immediate availability is preferred.
