Position: Data Scientist – AI/ML Specialist (Healthcare Data) Overview We are hiring a Data Scientist / AI Specialist to design and implement an AI prototype for vaccine supply and demand forecasting. This role involves data ingestion, predictive modeling, and simulation (digital twin) to support decision-making in Ontario’s public health system.

Responsibilities

• Build and train ML models using historical vaccine and inventory datasets.

• Develop predictive simulations to support supply/demand planning.

• Work with Data Engineers to prepare high-quality datasets.

• Support dashboards and model integration with decision tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI/ML and predictive modeling.

• Strong skills in Python, R, Tensor Flow, Scikit-learn .

• Experience with Azure Databricks ML, MLOps, Power BI .

• Public sector/government project experience a plus.

• Certifications: Azure AI Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Data Scientist (preferred).
