Our client is actively seeking a Lead AI Engineer to spearhead their advanced AI development initiatives in Onitsha, Anambra, NG .

This senior role involves guiding a team of AI engineers and researchers in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.

The Lead AI Engineer will be responsible for setting technical direction, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex AI projects from conception to production.

Key responsibilities include architecting scalable AI pipelines, selecting optimal algorithms and frameworks, and ensuring the robust performance and reliability of AI models.

You will play a crucial role in translating business needs into practical AI solutions, collaborating closely with product management, data science, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in machine learning theory, extensive hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and a proven ability to deploy AI models in production environments.

Expertise in areas such as natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or predictive analytics is highly valued.

Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices is essential.

Qualifications:

Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.

Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering.

Proven experience leading technical teams.

Expertise in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Strong programming skills in Python.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Solid understanding of MLOps principles and practices.
