Our client, a pioneer in Artificial Intelligence research and development, is looking for a Lead AI Ethicist to join their innovative team in Abeokuta, Ogun, NG .

This hybrid role requires a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of ethical AI.

The Lead AI Ethicist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing theethical frameworks and guidelines governing the company's AI products and services.

This includes conducting thorough ethical risk assessments, advising R&D teams on responsible AI development practices, and staying abreast of evolving AI ethics regulations and societal concerns.

You will collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, product managers, and legal counsel to ensure that AI systems are developed and deployed in a manner that is fair, transparent, accountable, and beneficial to society.

Key responsibilities involve crafting AI ethics policies, establishing robust governance structures, and leading cross-functional teams to address complex ethical dilemmas.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI technologies, machine learning principles, and their societal implications.

A strong background in philosophy, ethics, law, public policy, or a related field, coupled with practical experience in applying ethical principles to technology, is essential.

You will be expected to conduct research, publish findings, and present on AI ethics to internal and external stakeholders.
