Our client, a forward-thinking technology company committed to responsible AI development, is seeking a Lead AI Ethics Specialist to guide their ethical framework and ensure responsible innovation.

This role is fully remote, allowing you to shape the future of AI from anywhere.

You will be responsible for developing policies, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a culture of ethical awareness across all AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of AI technologies, ethical principles, and the ability to translate these into actionable guidance for technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics policies, guidelines, and best practices.

Conduct thorough ethical risk assessments for new and existing AI systems and applications.

Provide expert guidance and consultation on ethical considerations related to AI, including bias, fairness, transparency, accountability, and privacy.

Collaborate with AI researchers, engineers, product managers, and legal teams to ensure ethical design and deployment of AI solutions.

Develop and deliver training programs on AI ethics for employees at all levels.

Stay abreast of evolving AI ethics regulations, industry standards, and academic research.

Advise on strategies to mitigate ethical risks and promote fairness in AI algorithms and datasets.

Facilitate discussions and workshops on complex ethical dilemmas in AI.

Monitor and audit AI systems for compliance with ethical principles.

Represent the company in external forums and discussions related to AI ethics.

Contribute to the development of tools and frameworks for ethical AI evaluation.

Qualifications:

Master's or Ph.D. in Philosophy, Ethics, Law, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field with a specialization in AI ethics or technology policy. 5+ years of experience in AI ethics, technology policy, responsible AI, or a related field.

Deep understanding of AI technologies, machine learning concepts, and their societal implications.

Strong knowledge of ethical theories, frameworks, and principles.

Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulatory landscapes concerning AI and data privacy.

Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Experience in developing and delivering training programs is a plus.

Demonstrated passion for promoting ethical technology development.
