Our client is at the forefront of innovation and is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead AI/ML Engineer to join their cutting-edge team.
This is a fully remote position, based in the vicinity of Gombe, Gombe, NG , offering the opportunity to work on transformative projects without geographical constraints.
You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning models and artificial intelligence solutions that address complex business challenges.
This role involves leading a team of engineers, architecting scalable AI systems, and driving the adoption of AI/ML best practices across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various ML algorithms, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and programming languages such as Python.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies is essential.
We are looking for a visionary leader with a proven track record of delivering impactful AI/ML projects, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
You will guide the team through the entire ML lifecycle, from data preprocessing and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI/ML models and solutions.
Architect and build scalable and robust machine learning systems.
Mentor and guide junior AI/ML engineers and data scientists.
Drive research and development in cutting-edge AI/ML technologies.
Collaborate with product teams to identify opportunities for AI integration.
Ensure the ethical and responsible development of AI systems.
Oversee the deployment and monitoring of ML models in production environments.
Evaluate and select appropriate algorithms and tools for various AI/ML tasks.
Stay current with advancements in AI and machine learning fields.
Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field. 7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering and development. Strong expertise in Python and ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing technical teams.
Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
