Our client, a cutting-edge technology research firm focused on developing advanced artificial intelligence solutions, is seeking a Principal Research Scientist with expertise in Data Science and AI.

This role is fully remote, allowing top-tier talent to contribute to transformative projects from anywhere in the world.

You will lead research initiatives, mentor a team of data scientists and engineers, and drive the development of novel algorithms and machine learning models.

The ideal candidate has a Ph.

D. in a quantitative field, a proven track record of significant contributions to AI/ML research, and a deep understanding of various modeling techniques, from deep learning to statistical methods.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and execution of advanced AI and machine learning research projects.

Develop and implement novel algorithms and models for complex data analysis and prediction.

Mentor and guide junior data scientists and engineers, fostering technical growth and innovation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into product development.

Conduct rigorous experimentation, validation, and performance tuning of models.

Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals, and contribute to patent applications.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and related fields.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies for research and development.

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Contribute to the strategic direction of the company's AI research roadmap.

Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

A minimum of 10 years of post-Ph.

D. research experience in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, with a significant publication record.

Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or other AI sub-fields.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
