Our client is looking for an experienced and visionary Remote AI Ethics Lead to champion responsible AI development and deployment.

This is a fully remote position, offering a unique opportunity to shape ethical AI practices from anywhere.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive AI ethics frameworks, guidelines, and policies across the organization.

This includes identifying potential ethical risks associated with AI technologies, conducting impact assessments, and advising development teams on best practices for fairness, accountability, transparency, and privacy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AI technologies, a deep commitment to ethical principles, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement AI ethics strategies, policies, and procedures.

Establish frameworks for identifying, assessing, and mitigating ethical risks in AI systems.

Conduct ethical reviews of AI projects, algorithms, and datasets.

Advise engineering and product teams on ethical considerations throughout the AI development lifecycle.

Promote a culture of responsible AI innovation within the organization.

Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in AI ethics globally.

Engage with external stakeholders, including researchers, policymakers, and industry groups, on AI ethics issues.

Develop training programs on AI ethics for relevant teams.

Contribute to public discourse and thought leadership on responsible AI. Ensure AI systems align with company values and societal expectations.

Qualifications:

Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Philosophy, Law, Public Policy, or a related field with a specialization in AI ethics or responsible technology. 5+ years of experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology policy.

Strong understanding of machine learning, data science, and AI development processes.

Proven ability to develop and implement ethical frameworks and policies.

Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Experience with AI governance and risk management.

Familiarity with relevant ethical guidelines and regulations.

Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a remote environment.
