Our client is at the forefront of innovation and is seeking a brilliant and motivated Remote AI Research Scientist specializing in Computer Vision to join their groundbreaking team.

This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research and develop novel AI solutions from anywhere.

You will be instrumental in pushing the boundaries of what's possible in machinelearning and deep learning, with a specific focus on visual perception and analysis. The ideal candidate possesses a strong theoretical foundation, practical implementation skills, and a passion for solving complex problems using artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities:

Conduct advanced research in computer vision, deep learning, and related AI fields.

Develop and implement novel algorithms for image recognition, object detection, semantic segmentation, and visual tracking.

Design, train, and evaluate deep neural networks for various computer vision tasks.

Stay abreast of the latest academic research and industry trends in AI and computer vision.

Publish research findings in top-tier AI conferences and journals.

Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research prototypes into production-ready systems.

Develop and maintain high-quality code for research experiments and prototypes.

Design and conduct experiments to validate hypotheses and measure model performance.

Contribute to the intellectual property portfolio through patent applications.

Mentor junior researchers and interns.

Present research findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Explore new research avenues and identify potential applications of AI in emerging fields.

Optimize AI models for performance, efficiency, and scalability.

Contribute to the development of AI strategies and roadmaps.

Engage with the broader AI research community through presentations and discussions.

Ensure reproducibility of research results.

Develop and manage research project timelines and deliverables.

Evaluate and integrate state-of-the-art open-source AI libraries and frameworks.

Contribute to the ethical considerations and responsible development of AI technologies. Propose innovative solutions to challenging real-world problems using AI and computer vision.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on computer vision and deep learning. Proven track record of significant research contributions, evidenced by publications in top AI venues (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML).

Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.

Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++.

Strong understanding of image processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning algorithms.

Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed training techniques.

Excellent analytical, mathematical, and algorithmic thinking skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team in a remote setting.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

Familiarity with modern software development practices.
