Our client, a cutting-edge technology firm at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence, is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Remote AI/ML Engineer with a specialization in Computer Vision.
This is a fully remote role where you will contribute to the development of advanced AI solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.
You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models for image and video analysis, object detection, facial recognition, and other computer vision tasks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong theoretical understanding of machine learning algorithms and practical experience in building and training deep learning models.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with relevant AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras are essential.
You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers and researchers, participating in the entire ML lifecycle from data preparation and model development to deployment and performance monitoring.
Excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for innovation, and the ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment are key.
Responsibilities include:
Designing, developing, and implementing advanced computer vision algorithms and models.
Training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models for image and video processing tasks.
Working with large datasets, including data augmentation, pre-processing, and feature engineering.
Utilizing deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras for model development.
Collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate AI solutions into products and services.
Researching and applying state-of-the-art techniques in computer vision and machine learning.
Optimizing model performance for accuracy, speed, and efficiency.
Writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our AI development processes and infrastructure. Staying abreast of the latest advancements and trends in AI and computer vision research.
Qualifications:
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models, with a strong focus on computer vision.
Proven experience with deep learning architectures for image recognition, object detection, segmentation, etc. Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries (e.g., OpenCV, scikit-learn).
Expertise in at least one major deep learning framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
Solid understanding of machine learning theory, algorithms, and statistical modeling.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for ML workloads is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote teamwork.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive projects to completion.
