Our client is at the forefront of AI innovation and is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Remote Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join their elite research and development team.

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to groundbreaking projects from anywhere in the world.

You will be instrumental in developing and deploying advanced computer vision algorithms andsystems that power next-generation applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with extensive practical experience in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision techniques.

You will tackle challenging problems in areas such as object detection, image segmentation, facial recognition, and 3D reconstruction, working with large datasets and state-of-the-art hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge computer vision algorithms and models for various applications.

Work with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) to train and optimize models for performance and accuracy.

Conduct research into new computer vision techniques and technologies to solve complex problems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and data scientists, in a remote environment.

Process and analyze large image and video datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity.

Develop and deploy computer vision solutions on various platforms, including embedded systems and cloud environments.

Evaluate and benchmark the performance of computer vision models, identifying areas for improvement.

Stay current with the latest research and industry trends in computer vision and AI.

Document algorithms, models, and system designs clearly and comprehensively.

Contribute to the intellectual property of the company through innovation and patent applications.

Troubleshoot and debug computer vision systems, providing effective solutions.

Mentor junior engineers and share expertise within the team.

Qualifications:

Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in Computer Vision or Machine Learning.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in developing and deploying computer vision systems.

Strong theoretical understanding and practical experience in areas such as image processing, object detection, segmentation, tracking, and 3D vision. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., OpenCV). Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience training complex neural networks.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.

Experience with GPU programming and optimization techniques is a plus.

Published research in top-tier computer vision conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV) is highly valued.
