Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior AI Ethics Researcher to join our cutting-edge AI & Emerging Technologies team.

This pivotal role will be based in our office in Akure, Ondo, NG , with a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of artificial intelligence principles, machine learning, and the societal implications of thesetechnologies.

You will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on ethical frameworks, bias detection and mitigation in AI systems, and the development of responsible AI deployment strategies.

This includes formulating guidelines, policies, and best practices to ensure AI is developed and used in a fair, transparent, and accountable manner.

You will collaborate closely with AI engineers, data scientists, product managers, and legal counsel to integrate ethical considerations throughout the AI development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will involve analyzing complex datasets for potential ethical risks, developing novel algorithms for fairness assessment, and contributing to the academic discourse through publications and presentations.

The role requires a proactive approach to identifying emerging ethical challenges and proposing innovative solutions.

You will also play a key role in educating internal teams and external stakeholders on AI ethics.
