Our client is at the forefront of innovation in Artificial Intelligence and is looking for a highly skilled Senior AI Research Scientist to lead cutting-edge research in Computer Vision.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced computer vision algorithms and models.

You will conduct in-depth research into areas such as image recognition, object detection, semantic segmentation, and generative models.

You will play a pivotal role in defining the research roadmap, identifying new opportunities for AI applications, and collaborating with engineering teams to translate research into production-ready systems.

A significant part of your work will involve staying current with the latest academic research and industry trends, publishing findings in top-tier conferences and journals, and mentoring junior researchers.

This role is entirely remote.

Success hinges on your ability to collaborate effectively with a distributed team through advanced communication tools and methodologies.

You will be expected to manage your research projects independently, maintain high productivity, and contribute actively to our client's vibrant research community.

While you can work from any location, you must be able to align with core team working hours for critical collaborations and meetings.

Candidates must possess a PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, with a strong specialization in Computer Vision.

A proven track record of impactful research, demonstrated by publications in leading AI conferences (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML) and significant contributions to open-source projects, is essential.

Deep expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX is required.

Proficiency in Python and extensive experience with relevant libraries (e.g., OpenCV, scikit-image) are mandatory.

Experience with large-scale dataset training and distributed computing is highly desirable.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are expected. Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate complex technical concepts are vital.
