Our client, a cutting-edge scientific research organization, is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Senior Research Scientist specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Responsibilities:

Lead research initiatives in AI/ML, focusing on areas such as deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.

Develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning models and algorithms to solve challenging scientific problems.

Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and drive innovation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams of scientists and engineers to translate research findings into practical applications.

Design and conduct rigorous experiments to evaluate model performance and validate hypotheses.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML research and apply them to our projects.

Publish research findings in top-tier scientific journals and present at international conferences.

Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the growth of the research team.

Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient code for ML models. Contribute to the strategic direction of the AI/ML research roadmap.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. 5+ years of proven experience in AI/ML research and development, with a strong publication record. Expertise in at least one major ML framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

Solid understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and data analysis techniques.

Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple research projects simultaneously in a remote setting.

Demonstrated leadership potential and experience in guiding research projects.
