About The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI Application Researcher to play a pivotal role in advancing our core AI technologies.

As a senior technical individual contributor, you will be responsible for tackling our most complex technical challenges in LLM tuning and multimodal systems.

You will leverage your deep expertise to design robust AI algorithms, drive key projects to completion, and serve as a go-to technical expert for other engineers on the team.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced AI System & Algorithm Design:

Design and implementsophisticated AI algorithms and end-to-end systems for NLP and multimodal tasks, focusing on scalability and performance.

Architect advanced solutionsusing large language models, including the design of complex RAG systems, agentic workflows, and tool-integration frameworks.

Provide technical guidanceon algorithm selection and model architecture during project planning and code reviews.

Lead the technical executionof key AI initiatives, from prototyping to production deployment.

Develop and optimizestate-of-the-art NLP and multimodal algorithms for tasks such as text understanding, generation, and information extraction.

Implement advanced LLM fine-tuning techniques(e.g., LoRA, QLoRA) for domain adaptation and performance enhancement on specific applications.

Drive the research and integration of multimodal AI experiences(text, vision, audio) to build the foundation for future product offerings.

Optimize model inferencefor performance, latency, and cost-efficiency in a production environment.

Technical Excellence & Collaboration:

Mentor mid-level and junior engineersby sharing knowledge, providing technical advice, and reviewing code to help upskill the team.

Collaborate closelywith data scientists, ML engineers, and product managers to integrate advanced AI solutions into products and services.

Troubleshoot and resolvecomplex technical issues in the AI development and deployment pipeline.

Stay currentwith the latest advancements in NLP and multimodal AI research and incorporate relevant techniques into our projects.

About You

Core Competencies

Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.

5-7 years of hands-on experiencein designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems.

Expert proficiency in Chinese NLPand understanding of its unique linguistic characteristics.

Deep expertise in Pythonand the modern AI ecosystem (e.g., PyTorch/TensorFlow, Transformers, Vector Databases).

Proven experience in advanced LLM fine-tuningand deployment for real-world applications.

Strong experience in designing and optimizing RAG systemsand other LLM-based architectures.

Experience with agentic workflow design and multi-agent systems.

Familiarity with multimodal AI conceptsand a strong interest in developing these capabilities.

Comfortable working in a Linux environment.

Excellent command of both English and Chinese (Putonghua).
