About The Job

Are you a Software Engineer with a Master’s degree, 2 years of professional experience, solid programming fundamentals, and a fascination with Artificial Intelligence?

We’re looking for motivated developers like you to help build the next generation of AI-driven applications.

You’ll apply and grow your software engineering skills by contributing to the development and deployment of solutions involving Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, and testing of backend services, APIs, and data processing components for AI applications.

Implement and help deploy AI workflows using LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, open‑source models), learning techniques like RAG and agentic systems under guidance.

Develop and maintain software components, including interactions with data stores (like SQL/NoSQL databases or vector databases) and AI models.

Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following team standards and best practices.

Assist in implementing monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing AI applications for performance and reliability.

Apply software engineering best practices (e.g., version control with Git, basic testing, CI/CD principles) to the AI development lifecycle.

Collaborate with senior engineers, researchers, and product teams to understand requirements and implement features.

Actively learn about advancements in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, and LLM technologies, building upon your academic foundation.

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

About You

Core Competencies

Advanced Education & Foundational CS Knowledge:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field is required.

Strong understanding of core CS concepts (data structures, algorithms, systems design).

Solid Programming Skills:

Proficiency in Python is required.

You should be comfortable writing and debugging code.

Software Development Experience:

2 years post‑Master’s professional experience building or contributing to software projects, potentially including backend services, APIs, or web applications.

Experience with frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, Django is a plus.

Familiarity with Databases:

Basic understanding of and some experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.

Eagerness to Learn AI/ML:

A strong, demonstrable interest in Artificial Intelligence and a high motivation to learn about LLMs, NLP, RAG, and related technologies.

Relevant Master’s coursework, thesis work, or personal projects are a significant plus.

Problem‑Solving Aptitude:

Good analytical skills and a methodical approach to debugging software, potentially enhanced by graduate‑level studies.

Basic DevOps Awareness:

Familiarity with version control (Git) is essential.

Exposure to Docker or basic CI/CD concepts is beneficial.

Team Player:

Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Fluent in English and proficiency in Putonghua (for cross‑team collaboration).

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to Cloud Platforms: Experience or familiarity with developing or deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Huawei Cloud, GCP, or similar.

Practical experience with Computer Vision (CV) projects, frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow), or applications is a significant advantage.

Familiarity with RESTful API design principles.

Any exposure to AI/ML tools or libraries (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain, scikit‑learn) through projects or coursework.

Interest in system performance and optimization.

Contributions to relevant open‑source projects or personal coding projects.
