Full Stack Engineer (Python/AI)

Full Description

Experience Level: 5+ years

Must-Have

Understanding of modern language (e.g. Python), tools, and libraries

Working knowledge of object-oriented concepts

Working knowledge of python's functional programming concepts (e.g. iterators, generators, decorators, etc.)

Understanding of database concepts (e.g. relational, vector, noSQL, etc.)

Use of git for version control

Understanding of parallel programming concepts (e.g. multiprocessing, multithreading, asynchronous)

Ability to communicate about software concepts in written or spoken form

Basic understanding of web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, REST)

Ability to rapidly and independently research to learn new tools and technologies

Habit of planning before coding, including algorithm and data structures before writing code

Smart use of pre-documentation to feed code generators (see documentation section below)

Ability to effectively prompt generative AI for code analysis, documentation, generation, modification, troubleshooting, and testing

Good To Have

Experience with containerized applications using Docker

Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline setups

Experience working in Agile environments

Knowledge of additional backend technologies
