About the Role

RBC Borealis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our machine learning research and engineering efforts. As a key member of our organization, you will provide strategic leadership and direction to drive the effectiveness of your team, enabling them to deliver high-value business outcomes through the application of AI.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and productize innovative AI approaches and novel intellectual property, driving business impact through research and development;

• Engage with business partners to define AI solutions that meet business needs, working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective solutions;

• Provide technical leadership and scientific guidance to applied research projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and progress;

• Foster a culture of innovation and growth, mentoring and leading a group of researchers and engineers to develop their skills and make meaningful contributions to RBC Borealis' research and development efforts;

• Establish and promote Borealis as a thought leader in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, contributing to the company's reputation and visibility.
