We're Glacis, a pioneering Silicon Valley-inspired AI startup based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Our mission is to revolutionize supply chains through cutting-edge AI and data integration.

As our Senior Founding Engineer - AI, you'll shape our technology strategy and product architecture, collaborating closely with the founding team to design, develop, and scale a platform tackling complex challenges at the intersection of AI, data integration, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Systems: Develop, deploy, and refine AI and ML solutions tailored for supply chain workflows.

• Solution Quality: Monitor performance in production; iterate to improve reliability and accuracy.

• Backend Development: Strengthen Python-based backend (Django, Redis, PostgreSQL).

• Data Integration: Consolidate diverse data sources into a cohesive system.

• Collaborative Innovation: Define features, roadmap, and architecture with the team.

• Client Interaction: Gather feedback directly and tailor solutions for real-world needs.

• Strategic Impact: Shape the company's direction and engineering culture.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years full-time work in software engineering (graduated from university 2019 or earlier).

• AI Focus: Proven track record building AI/ML solutions from scratch, iterating on its quality of output, optimizing it, and launching them in production to customers.

• LLM Experience: 1+ years specifically working with modern LLMs.

• Technical: Very strong background in python and backend web frameworks such as Django.

• AI Tech Stack: Familiarity with modern AI deployment and observability solutions and experience running the entire deployment process.

• Hands-On: Work closely with founders—no bureaucratic layers.

• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Startup or founding experience preferred.

• Global Perspective: International exposure is a plus.

• Strong Work Ethic: Highly motivated, proactive, and driven.
