About the Job:

Our client, a global IT consultancy delivering first-class technology solutions, is seeking an AI Cloud Engineer focused on Azure.

The start date is ASAP, and the role is entirely remote.

Location: United Arab Emirates (Remote)

Job Type: Contract (6 months)

Working Conditions:

• Hours: 8 hours/day aligned with the UAE timezone (Saturday & Friday off)

Responsibilities:

• Designand develop cloud-based AI solutions that integrate ML models and AI tools.

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deploy scalable AI models in Azure cloud environments.

• Implement automation tools to streamline the deployment, monitoring, and management of AI models in the cloud infrastructure.

• Optimize cloud infrastructure for high-performance computing and ensure security and compliance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve AI system issues.

• Develop and maintain APIs and services that connect cloud-hosted AI models with other systems.

• Manage data pipelines and integration between cloud platforms and AI tools to support model training and inference.

• Perform cost optimization strategies for cloud resources.

• Stay updated on the latest AI and cloud technologies.

• Deploy Azure AI Foundry, AI Hub, OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Kubernetes (AKS), and Cloud network in a highly available and scalable environment.

• Manage the cloud infrastructure deployment, integration, configuration, and testing.

• Design Cloud Architecture and analyze errors in systems to define corrective measures.

• Guarantee a secure infrastructure environment along with production stability and performance.

• Support Azure infrastructure services and provide technical insights to the team.

• Act as a subject matter expert in Azure AI Foundry, AI Hub, OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Kubernetes (AKS), and Cloud network.

Professional Background:

• 4-6 years of experience in supporting cloud solutions and cloud deployment, preferably in the banking sector.

• 2-4 years of experience in supporting AI platforms hosted on Cloud.

• Working experience in AI Cloud Platform with expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud.

• Proficient in networking and infrastructure provisioning, including networks, compute, storage, and databases.

• Understanding of Terraform & Azure DevOps, with experience in Azure and AI Platform Administration.

• Knowledge of PowerShell and Bash.

• Familiarity with cloud management and control plane components, including networking, access management, RBAC, and security policies.

• Experience with Cloud IaaS and PaaS, skills in architecture, implementation, and support.

• Cloud monitoring and backup expertise, ensuring on-time service delivery.

• Exposure to large-scale production environments, upgrades, and migrations.

• Certification in AI is preferred.
