About the Role:

In this role you’ll work directly alongside our leadership team to support planning, execution, and delivery of Archie to our design partners and customers. You’ll ensure that our team runs smoothly, efficiently, and purposefully towards this goal. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape project management practices and infrastructure from the ground up in a fast-paced, early-stage environment, driving execution on some of the most challenging technical problems today.

This role is remote and you can be based anywhere in the US or Canada (where you must have existing work authorization). You will be expected to travel to our San Francisco office for co-working sessions approximately one week out of every six. (If you are already located in the SF Bay Area or are interested in relocation, you are of course welcome to work out of our SF office.)

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a socio-technical project management system for our team to use for planning and real-time tracking of progress. This system (which could consist of meetings, async updates, tools, etc.) helps us navigate areas of ambiguity and make agile pivots when needed. Ensure the smooth operation and disciplined usage of this system by our team, and continuously refine it, experimenting with ways to improve clarity, efficiency, and utility. Coordinate and run live sessions and async updates, and manage the key technical platforms.

• Co-develop project plans, timelines, and budgets with the engineering leadership, including for internal milestones and customer projects, on both short and long timescales. When things change, guide the team in making the smartest trade-offs.

• Organize and run logistics for our in-person events, including customer workshops and company co-working sessions, including setting agendas, coordinating schedules, and facilitating productive interactions

• Proactively identify potential roadblocks, technical dependencies, or resource conflicts, and work collaboratively to find and implement solutions before they impact execution timelines

Qualifications:

• You’ve efficiently and effectively brought structured planning and rigor to fast-moving organizations in rapidly-evolving technical environments

• Engineering background and analytical mindset, and a proven ability to quickly pick up on technical challenges

• Experience organizing and facilitating technical meetings, workshops, and planning sessions, including scheduling, topic/session definition, and other logistics

• Skilled at working with technical teams to break down ambitious projects and goals into manageable steps and priorities

• You proactively identify risks and dependencies in technical projects and have a track record of developing effective mitigation strategies

• You have a strong blend of analytical and people skills
