At Perplexity AI, we're seeking a highly experienced Research Scientist to further improve our cutting-edge Online Large Language Models (LLMs), Sonar models. Your primary responsibility will be to translate research concepts into practical algorithms and implement them.

You'll also work on running experiments, launching new models, and staying up-to-date with the latest research in LLMs, particularly model training and post-training innovations. Additionally, you'll collaborate with engineering teams to integrate Sonar models into our product.

To excel in this role, you should have:
